holiday party dresses for 2011

Every year I play it safe, when choosing a holiday party dress, by wearing a simple black dress. This year however, I decided to search my favorite site  for an unusual alternative and I have come up with the following choices as inspiration. Let me know what you think?

carolina herrera: fall 2011 fashion for the woman over 40

When I embarked on  my research to write this article, I decided I would pick 3 outfits from each of my favorite designers and share with you their Fall 2011 fashion suggestions.  But when I flipped through the photographs here, I realized that Caroline Herrera has once again outdone herself, at least for the women over 40 and decided to dedicate this entry just to her.

Check out some of my favorites below and by the way have an amazing weekend!!!

wedding shoes for the woman over 40

In yesterdays blog entry I suggested some beautiful gowns here for that special day for the woman over 40. Along with choosing the right gowns, it is also very important to select the right type of shoes and although I am not loyal to any particular  shoe designers and their products, I have included an online catalog here from Badgley Mischka Spring 2011 footwear collection for you to consider, when shopping for your special wedding day, or “renewing wedding vows” or simply to match with a dress you plan to wear to a wedding in 2011.

Tell me what you think?
