I swear I was just toasting in 2013 and now all of a sudden it’s June. What in the world is going on? Has it always been like this. Where time flies, no matter if you are having fun or not.

Sometimes it’s good to shop for practical shoes which are very well made and durable enough to last and keep you comfortable.
While I walked through Union Square yesterday at lunch, I decided to take a look at the Spring/Summer display at the Cole Haan Boutique near Maiden Lane and to my pleasant surprise, I was impressed. Here are some of my favorite comfy shoes.

I have to say, women over 40, have come a long way. Not just in Hollywood, but also in the real world. The funny thing is, that when I was in my 20s, I dreaded being 40 and now that I have reached that point, I couldn’t be more proud. Now my only wish is that I could look as good as Jane Fonda when I am in my 70s.

Two things dictated how I wanted to dress for New Year’s Eve this year. Top priority was comfort and the second, dressy but casual. So I opted for pants, then a simple sequined top, followed by strappy shoes which would give me enough support to last throughout the night and a simple pair of earings to accessorize. As for the coat, I love fur, faux that is and since this year faux fur is in, I decided to incorporated it into my ensemble from here.

Affordable and chic are the cocktail dresses I came across here and wanted to share with those who are in the midst of attending various parties during the holiday season. The good thing is, these dresses could also be considered for New Year’s Eve.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you duplicate a fashion ensemble from discount racks or clothing warehouses, as long as it’s chic and stylish.:)
