Back in the 90′s I wore red lipstick and red nail polish, but since Sex In The City aired on television, we, I mean women over 40 have evolved along with the cast in choosing lighter shades of pink and nude to “cover up our age”
Lately however, I envy the red, which is back in fashion (perhaps silently it never left) and wonder if I can still support the look. Any comments from the over 40 crowd?
From a guy’s perspective I’m gonna say yes, women over 40 should wear Red. I don’t have to point out the obvious about the color. After all, it’s one of the most popular ones. In my opinion, the question I would ask is what is the motive for wearing the color red on your lips, finger nails or clothes. In the end, as long as you look classy, no matter how old you may be, red is fun and it will make you feel good.
